Evelyn Labrum Hoskins was born and raised in Bennion, Utah. She attended
the Plymouth Elementary and Junior High School and then went to Granite High
School.
She is the mother of three children and is a beautiful seamstress. She
enjoys all kinds of sewing and hand embroidery.
She has been employed at Mode O'Day, a retail store.
Evelyn has been active in the P.T.A. when her children were in school.
She has been active in the L.D.S. Church organizations in her ward.
Obituary: Evelyn Labrum Hoskins, age 74, died March 13, 1990, at home after
struggle with cancer.
Born February 6,1916, Salt Lake City, a daughter of Thomas Orren and
Evelyn May Pearse. Married Rex Hoskins, April 24, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS
Temple. He preceded her in death. Member of the LDS Church, where she served
in various positions. Currently serving in the Jordan River Temple.
Survived by two sons and one daughter, Brian R. Hoskins, Ogden; Calvin L.
Hoskins, Salt Lake City; Mrs. David (Becky) Pritchett, Sandy; nine
grandchildren; seven sisters and brothers, Mrs. Eileen Poulsen, Mrs. Avon
Rich, Mrs. Mavis Williams, George Labrum, Mrs. Ruby Wallace, Mrs. Marie
Breinholt, Mrs. Velda Pearson, Janet Breinholt, Jerry Labrum, Kent Labrum;
sisters-in-law, Louise Labrum, Reita Labrum. Preceded in death by two
brothers, T. John and Pearse.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, 12 noon, Little Cottonwood Stake
Center, 885 East Holly Avenue. Friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m., McDougal
Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Friday at the church,
one hour prior to services. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
