Schwarze, Nicolina A. "Nikki" 44, an 18-year Staatsburg resident and former Newburgh resident, died Tuesday, [Nov. 20], in Rhinebeck. Mrs. Mallardi was a homemaker who had formerly worked as a therapy aide at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, and in the Housekeeping Department of Hudson River Psychiatric Center, Poughkeepsie. She was a communicant of Regina Coeli Roman Catholic Church in Hyde Park.. Born April 6, 1946, in Newburgh, she was the daughter of Paul and Angelina Bracallelly Schwarze. Her parents survive in Newburgh. Her husband, Anthony Mallardi, survives at home. Other survivors include four daughters, Victoria Lawrence of Marlboro, Renee Mallardi of Newburgh, Paula Mallardi of Wappingers Falls, and Darlene Mallardi of Staatsburg; an aunt; and a grandson. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Route 9, Hyde Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Regina Coeli Church, Route 9, Hyde Park. Burial will be in Union Cemetery of Hyde Park.
