Caroline Franklin appears as cook to the vicar of Potterspury, a Theodore Carolus Benoni Stritch, vicar from 1844 to 1852.
Caroline was aged 28 and born in Syresham, Northants. The vicar had a young family with 5 children and there were 2 nursemaids also residing at the vicarage (now The Old Vicarage), in Lower End (as it was called) opposite the Church.

DIED JULY 8TH 1884 (INTERRED IN WINDSOR CEMETERY),
GEORGE LABRUM, BORN FEB 27TH 1859, DIED SEPT 20TH 1893.
SO HE GIVETH HIS BELOVED SLEEP
PEACE PERFECT PEACE WITH LOVED ONES FAR AWAY,
IN JESUS KEEPING WE ARE SAFE AND THEY.
