[29097][29097] Michael Stephen Schreib passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on November 2, 2021, in Upland, CA. He was 60 years old. Mike had valiantly fought a 6-year battle with cancer, and his warfare had finally ended. He was born December 23, 1960 to Cass and Intha Schreib in Bellflower, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, Cass Schreib, and survived by his mother, Intha, wife, Michelle, of 37 years, his two siblings, Brenda Hawk and David Schreib, his three children, Daniel Schreib, Elizabeth Schreib and Sarah Dunn. Mike was a life-long resident of Ontario and a Chaffey High School alumnus of 1978. He received a Bachelor's of Divinity from Pensacola Bible Institute in 1993. For a time he was a member of the local Kiwanis club and Ontario Library Board. In addition to being a funeral director for over 30 years, he served as a pastor for the Bible Baptist Church International, formerly the Country Church of Ontario, for 28 years. Mike's unwavering faith, humor, and character indelibly touched all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, November 11, at Bible Baptist Church International, 448 N. Virginia Ave. in Ontario at 11:30 a.m. with a graveside to follow.
