Theron Lee Labrum 1914 ~ 2006 Theron Lee Labrum was born December 9, 1914 in Salt Lake City Utah to Percy Lee and Flora Labrum. He was called to his heavenly home Monday, May 8, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by wife, Margaret Petty Labrum; sons, Robert Lee (Diana), Michael James (Marilyn); daughter, Beverley; grandchildren, Randy, Michael, Robby, Lindsay and Anise Labrum; seven great-grand-children; sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dean J. Labrum. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served as a missionary to England, Membership Clerk, and High Priest. He served his country in World War II as radio man on the C.H. Muir. Employed by Union Pacific Railroad for over 30 years. THERON LABRUM Theron Lee Labrum, 91, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, May 8, 2006. He was born Dec. 9, 1914, in Salt Lake City, and resided in Nevada for 42 years. Theron served an LDS mission in England from 1935 to 1937. Following his mission, he was employed in law enforcement as deputy sheriff in Idaho. From 1938 to 1940, Theron worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard in the Pacific Theatre from 1943 to 1945. Theron also worked as a claims adjustor for the Union Pacific Railroad, retiring in 1979, after 35 years. He continued working as the head of a loving family until his last day. Theron is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Beverley Labrum of Murray, Utah; sons, Robert (Diana) Labrum and Dr. Michael (Marilyn) Labrum, both of Las Vegas; grandsons, Randy and Michael Labrum of Gilbert, Ariz., and Robert Labrum of Las Vegas; granddaughters, Anise Labrum of New York City, and Lindsey Labrum of Hollywood, Calif.; and seven great-grandchild-ren. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Interment will be held in Fillmore, Utah.
