Vaughn C. Schreib, 80, of Brewerton, died March 1, 2018 at home, surrounded by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Hayes; his son, Matthew; and daughters, Kristin and Amanda. He is also survived by his loving grandsons, Lucas and Jacob Schreib, and newest granddaughter, Leona Easterly.
Vaughn joined the Troop D NYS Police in March 1968 and retired in March 1993. He also worked for the Oneida Nation Indian Police and Brinks, retiring in December 2005.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. with a short service immediately following on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from the Harter Funeral Home 9525 S. Main Street, Brewerton. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Central New York.
