Juanita was born January 21, 1936 to Willie and Marie (Jones) Hamilton in Provence, Oklahoma. She grew up in Lone Grove, Oklahoma and moved to Texas in the late 1950s where she worked for Levi Strauss Company in Wichita Falls. Juanita married Harold "Wade" DeMoss on May 2, 1964 in Wichita Falls and moved to Ringgold where they raised their family. She worked for Goldburg ISD as a custodian for several years and for Cunningham Printing Company as a press operator and supervisor for 17 years until her retirement. Juanita loved life and enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Marie Hamilton; two sons, John and Rick Chambers; two brothers, Kenneth and Gerald Hamilton.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Wade DeMoss of Bowie; three children, Darlene Crowell and husband, Bill of Elk City, OK, Jerry DeMoss and wife, Peggy of Bowie, and Mike DeMoss and wife, Shanon of Bowie; seven grandchildren, Ricky Cromwell and wife, Mendy of Lone Grove, OK, Rodney Cromwell and wife, Kody of Springer, OK, Richie, Laken, and Kynan DeMoss, Tim Chambers and wife, Kristy, Deanie Crow and husband, Chris all of Bowie; ten great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; daughter-in-law, Rita Chambers of Bowie; several brothers and sisters, Beatrice Van Buskirk of Ardmore, OK, Roy Hamilton and wife, Johnnie of Lone Grove, OK, Harold Hamilton and wife, Sue of Weatherford, Doyle Hamilton and wife, Melba of Lone Grove, OK, Warren Hamilton and wife, Nelda of Ringgold, Glen Hamilton and wife, Glenda of Chickasha, OK, and Genova Stoker of Dickson, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
