Joyce Marie Mullin, Neosho, died Aug. 25, 2011, at Freeman West Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
Joyce was born April 8, 1934, in Moyers, Okla., and spent most of her life in the Neosho area. She was a homemaker and loved to cook. She was also a member of the DAV Ladies Auxiliary and Silvermoon Full Gospel Church.
She married Wallace D. Thrasher, who preceded her in death, then married Arthur J. Mullin on Nov. 12, 1966, in Neosho and he preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 1998.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Tudor, Rose Marie Mullin and Cassandra Jane McElroy; two sons, John Arthur Mullin and Martin Alan Thrasher; two brothers, Floyd Gale Thomas and Donnie Wayne Thomas; three sisters, Bernice Jackson, Mary Etta Bollier and Shirley Ann Pryor; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Bill L. McElroy; and a brother, James Abbie Thomas.
